This extraordinary small sculpture portrays Siva and Parvati in a frankly erotic embrace. It is from the Pala tradition, but likely from Eastern Bengal - now Bangladesh. A similar example can be found in the Ford collection in the Walters art Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland, USA
