Despite the poor overall condition of this statue, the beautiful form and technique are still acutely evident in this 13th century Padmapani.

The stylitic feature of delineated fingers is one of several clues that indicate that this four-armed Padmapani was cast in the western Nepalese tradition of the Khasa Malla kingdom.
